Pearson Care & Wellness is an authorized provider within the VA Community Care Network (CCN).  Veterans may receive massage therapy at no cost when referred by their VA healthcare provider.

First, talk with your VA primary care provider about your symptoms and how massage therapy could help. Your provider can submit a referral when it is clinically necessary for conditions such as chronic pain, muscle tension, mobility limitations, or stress-related physical discomfort.

They will document your symptoms and clinical need (pain, mobility issues, musculoskeletal conditions, etc.) before sending the referral to Community Care.

• Your VA provider submits the referral electronically.
  To ensure it routes correctly, they must list:

VA Community Care reviews the referral and sends an authorization directly to 

Pearson Care & Wellness.
This includes your approved number of visits, frequency, and treatment dates.

Once your authorization arrives, our office will contact you to schedule.
You may also call the office after confirming your referral has been submitted.

If you are running out of sessions and still need treatment, you must contact your VA provider directly to request more visits.
Your provider will submit a new referral, and once approved, we will continue your care.
