You will be asked to fill out a Client Intake Form digitally, before your appointment. At your appointment, you will be asked general questions to establish what areas you would like worked on, if there are any conditions needing to be addressed, and to determine if massage is appropriate for you.
It is important to list all health concerns and medications so the therapist can adapt the session to your specific needs without doing any harm. It is also important to list any allergies so the therapist is aware. A different oil or lotion may be needed during the session.
A session consists of massage, time for you to dress and undress and time to communicate with the therapist to make your massage truly customized. This is done to ensure each and every massage session you receive from Pearson Care & Wellness meets or exceeds your expectations.
Clients should arrive 10 minutes prior to their massage.
Honestly, it’s hard to say. Every person is unique and every condition is unique to each person. It may take one session or it may take several. After your first session, it can be better determined what the treatment plan should be.
Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience a significant decrease of aches and pains. Many feel a little slowed down for a short period and then notice an increase of energy, heightened awareness and increased productivity which can last for days.
If you received a deep massage, you may be slightly sore the next day – much like a good workout at the gym. Sometimes a hot shower or a soak in the tub can ease this soreness.
After your session, you should increase your water intake. Just a glass or two more than normal is usually fine. This helps keep your body’s tissues hydrated and healthy.
Clients can only receive one session a day per treatment.
Ex: Clients can not receive 2 or more non-invasive lipo sessions in one day.
Results can be permanent or temporary depending upon the maintenance of the client. Clients should begin exercising and follow the maintenance guide that the therapist recommends.
Cavitation and laser lipo treatments can be done every 3-4 days Detox sauna sessions should not be done more than twice a week.
The procedure is non-invasive and you will be able to drive home after your session. Pain and bruising are non-existent. You'll be instructed to hydrate as much as possible after the procedure to help your body flush the fatty cells through your lymphatic system.
Obviously with all the sweating, you want to make sure to rehydrate! Please come to each session well-hydrated, not hungover or after drinking alcohol.
Water and towels will be provided during the session for your use.
Infrared Sauna use is not recommended for people who are pregnant, children under 12, those who cannot handle temperature extremes, those with hemophilia, fever, insensitivity to heat, and those under the influence of alcohol or who abuse alcohol.
This is a private and safe self-care practice that creates a deeper connection to your womb and the intention you may have for the session. Once you complete your intake form, a blend of organic herbs will be combined specifically for you, helping to bring the desired balance to your body.
We integrate massage, essential oils and music with the herbal steam as a means of providing a relaxing experience. You will be provided a gown to wear on the comfortable stool so nothing is exposed. Sessions can be 30 minutes or 1 hour.

This varies from woman to woman, and depends on countless individual factors including your age, where you are in your cycle, why you are steaming, what kinds of periods you have been experiencing, if you are trying to get pregnant or if you are post-partum, what your personal emotional/psychological/spiritual state is, etc.
Because every woman is different, results will always vary.
You can generally expect to feel immediately relaxed, more in tune with your womb space and vagina, rejuvenated, confident, and open to your feminine creativity. Intense emotional release during a steam session is also very common—you might laugh or cry, and that is great!
Physically, the most common general report after a first steam is that stagnant or built up matter tends to be released/cleansed during the next period. Subsequent periods then tend to be lighter as a result of this.
This depends on so many different factors. Every woman has a different body, different cycle, and different reasons for steaming.
If you feel you have a generally healthy cycle and just want to give steaming a try, you might start just once per month (after your period), or twice per month (once before your period and once after).
